Is Cyberpunk 2077 really that bad?
Updating after playing 15 hours now.
Cyberpunk 2077 is really emphasis on plot narration. There is a lot of effort in the plot. I have to say that the plot performance of the game and the detail processing is very powerful, and it allows players to naturally substitute into the game which they put a lot of effort, and the characterization is really strong.
The Night City is alive just like the CD Projekt said. Maybe you don’t care too much about the passersby, but their existence is not just like the passersby in other games. They are more like part of the city , Even if you just keep doing tasks and run away, you will feel that the world is really real and alive, the CD Projekt is doing a good job on this.
But the problem of gun battles is still very serious. In other games, when I use the scope or the sight to fire, I will not be obscured by the dazzling fire at least, but it will be happen in 2077. I took the rifle and aimed and fired. I can’t see anything clearly, and I even need to put the gun down from time to time to make sure that the blood bar is not empty. By the way, most of the time it will not be empty, because in this game, except for the spray gun, the torso is almost a bit scratchy. Then I installed a gorilla arm to fight melee, and then…I never used a gun after that.
I have always held the attitude of being objective and subjective in game reviews. Nowadays, many non-governmental players and even media who write reviews like to over substitute subjectivity into reviews. My personal opinion is that subjectiveness should follow objectiveness. For example, the system is still very poorly done, this part is not handled well, “but I like it/but I think there is nothing wrong with it”, just limit it to this. For the other parts of subjectivity, you only need to let your subjective experience serve the objective evaluation, and you need to consider yourself.
I hope you don’t have too much dissatisfaction and attacks on Cyberpunk 2077 because of the difference from your expectations. From the current perspective, Cyberpunk 2077 has actually done what he should be. What’s more, the CD Projekt is best at tinkering, the Witcher 3 is not Is it the same way along the way (although the white wolf walks and jumps on the railing is still like hemiplegia, and can’t change it), again, this is a game with the core of the plot, everything serves the plot, and other systems are Just serving the plot, don’t be too demanding.
